Most Bosch cameras detect people and vehicles in XProtect, with some even designed for firearm / gun detection. In challenging scenes or to enhance legacy camera accuracy, AI Alarm Verification provides an extra review layer. The Bosch plug-in for XProtect simplifies setup for seamless integration.

• Detect people and vehicles with Bosch cameras and use optional cloud-based AI Alarm Verification for challenging conditions or with legacy cameras.
• Use other Bosch cameras designed to detect brandished firearms and combine with Bosch AI Alarm Verification in the cloud for an extra pair of eyes.
• The plug-in enables easy cloud setup and configuration: it connects with the XProtect rule engine for (automated) incident response follow-up.
• Use Milestone's "Emergency Alert" feature in Mobile Client for emergency decision-making while on-the-go. Ideal for staff in education environments.
• No additional server equipment needed. Processing happens exclusively on the camera and -optionally- in the cloud (when using AI Alarm Verification).

Bosch cameras can detect different types of attributes and actions, and stream rich MQTT data about those — from people with backpacks to license plate information, geolocation and speed — while Conexao’s O-Insights platform transforms this data into intuitive real-time and/or historical dashboards inside Milestone XProtect.

• Receive camera alarms automatically in Milestone XProtect® Smart Client and Mobile Client®*
• Easily verify alarms on a smart phone through Milestone XProtect® Mobile Client® "Emergency Alert“
• Quickly enabling appropriate responses to help restrict the shooter’s movement and guide students to safety

Examples of incident responses** are locking doors, activating alarms and notify authorities through an IP loudspeaker, beacon or siren, or sending alerts to a mass notification system.
