Eindhoven, The Netherlands, September 16, 2026 – MiCOS returns as a dedicated access control company, marking a new chapter in a history that spans five decades of innovation and excellence in access control technology.

Founded in 1979, MiCOS established itself as a pioneer in access control solutions before becoming part of Bosch in 2004. Over the following two decades, the company's technology formed the foundation of Bosch access control solutions recognized worldwide for their reliability, flexibility, and performance.

Today, as part of Keenfinity Group, the access control business proudly returns to its original name: MiCOS will continue to focus exclusively on access control while maintaining the expertise, technology, and quality standards customers have trusted for years.
