Threat Level Management helps operators react quickly to changing situations, ensuring increased safety. Up to four configurable threat levels can be initiated in critical security-level scenarios like fire or aggression. When activated in the video management system, a threat level can swiftly change user permissions, access control, video surveillance, intrusion panels, and more actions.

Configuration Audit Trail is a distinctive feature with the next BVMS software release in June that tracks changes and manages revision information for audit purposes. Data is stored in a separate database for long-term retention. It allows quick and easy searching and filtering for changes done in BVMS configuration.

The AI-based Privacy overlay removes personal data from videos by pixelating the whole person without exposing their unique identity, ensuring compliance with data protection laws and regulations worldwide.

Situational awareness of where a person is in a particular area without identifying them is still possible with descriptive information such as clothing type or color, which is not inextricably linked to a single person. Depending on user permissions, operators can restrict cameras to public spaces, entryways, and perimeters. The client application anonymizes video so businesses can use their existing, compatible Bosch or third-party cameras. A single-camera stream can be used for live and recorded video, enabling masks based on user permissions. Operators can apply these masks only for specific system events as an added benefit. If necessary, unprocessed video footage can be turned over to law enforcement.

When searching for relevant events in video archives, it's critical to quickly locate results, even if the exact time is unknown. BVMS scans the recorded metadata to find specific events within seconds, improving efficiency. With its new multi-camera Forensic Search feature, the software allows searches across multiple camera feeds simultaneously, significantly reducing time and effort.

A transportation hub, like and airport or train station, needs to be able to operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This also applies to the video surveillance system: when operators, for whatever reason, are not able to view live and/or recorded video the transportation hub could be shut-down. BVMS Professional is a suitable solution for larger applications like airports or commercial enterprises with a maximum of 2,000 camera channels.

For extensive applications with many sites, BVMS Enterprise enables customers to connect multiple BVMS systems (Lite, Plus, Professional) or DIVAR IP all-in-one units. This product supports up to 200,000 cameras and enables users to access up to 100 subsystems simultaneously.
